How do you keep track of a whole-home furnishing list when furniture, lighting, decorative pieces and outdoor items are recorded separately?
Context
This historical project archive covers a private residence in India. The working schedule includes indoor furniture, decorative accessories, lighting, rugs and outdoor furniture. Some furniture entries identify their intended room; other entries remain unassigned or apply to more than one space.
The specific problem
A long selection list is difficult to review if room allocation, dimensions, finishes and quantities are separated from the product. A quantity in a schedule also needs to be distinguished from evidence that the item was produced, shipped or installed.
Our diagnosis
Keep the room, specification and listed quantity beside each product, and retain its source worksheet and row for checking.
Public edition prepared on 2026-10-13; the exact date of the historical schedule is not disclosed. This article uses an anonymized text summary.
How we handled it
Create a traceable scope record
FoshanBuild organized the archived schedule into 217 line records. Each record retains its source worksheet and row so the product details can be checked against the original file.
Keep product groups understandable
The two indoor-furniture worksheets were grouped together for the public summary. The resulting scope comprises 67 indoor-furniture records, 85 decorative-accessory records, 13 lighting records, 12 rug records and 40 outdoor-furniture records.
Retain room and specification details
Where the source identifies a room, the record keeps that allocation alongside the product, dimensions, finish and listed quantity. Entries without a confirmed room remain visibly unassigned or marked as covering multiple spaces.
Keep progress evidence separate
The reconstructed scope marks an entry as listed in the schedule. Production checks, shipment records and installed-condition images must be matched separately before an item can be described as completed.
What was recorded
- 217 schedule line records are traceable to their source worksheet and row.
- 67 indoor-furniture, 85 decorative-accessory, 13 lighting, 12 rug and 40 outdoor-furniture records.
- Room allocation is retained where the source identifies it; unassigned entries remain visible.
Result and current status
The archive now has a consolidated scope record that can be checked by product group, room and original source row. It provides a concrete starting point for reviewing specifications and identifying what evidence is still needed for each item.
Current progress: Historical scope reconstruction completed from the archived project schedule. This article does not report a new order or current project progress.

- Match production, shipment and installation evidence separately.
Prepared from an archived project schedule and its traceable scope reconstruction. Customer identity, precise location, supplier identities, prices and payment information are withheld. The 217 figure counts schedule line records, not delivered units. Listed quantities are not presented as a verified shipment total. This scope record does not establish item-by-item production, delivery, installation or final acceptance.
